Software Engineer II – Merchandising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance existing software and actively participate in the creation of new software by assessing and pinpointing areas for modifications and enhancements.

• Create new software that is efficient, secure, and dependable to fulfill specified requirements.

• Oversee, detect, and rectify moderately complex software defects to ensure software remains fully operational, with minimal supervision.

• Assist in researching and proposing methods to optimize solutions to better satisfy user and/or business performance and quality demands.

• Maintain a roadmap to streamline software development and ensure that development tasks are prioritized according to business needs.

• Identify root causes and implement solutions swiftly to mitigate and resolve issues.

• Aid in gathering functional requirements through document analysis and workflow analysis to articulate requirements clearly and concisely.

• Design database resources and provide physical modeling and design services to optimize database solutions for peak performance with some assistance from colleagues.

• Understand how to operate within an established program management framework to achieve specific objectives.

• Enhance personal capabilities by engaging in assessment and development planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching; acquire or maintain relevant external professional accreditation to boost performance and reach personal potential. Stay informed about relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices through continuous education, attending conferences, and consuming specialized media.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level preferred.

• Experienced professional capable of working independently (13 months to 3 years).

• Basic experience in coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months).
