Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage multiple simultaneous projects within the AdTech framework, including web wrapper functionalities, enhancements to OpenRTB servers, integrations with SSPs, A/B test implementations, and privacy/consent initiatives — overseeing these projects from their technical design all the way through deployment and post-launch evaluation.

• Serve as the primary contact for initiatives that involve multiple teams: creating technical design documentation, facilitating review discussions, collaborating with Ad Operations and SRE, and ensuring stakeholders are kept updated on progress (especially in cases where scope or timelines change).

• Produce high-quality code that requires minimal revisions during review across our JavaScript/TypeScript wrapper, our Rust s2s exchange, and the surrounding supporting tools.

• Design, implement, and evaluate A/B experiments — converting revenue, viewability, and Core Web Vitals data into actionable insights.

• Develop and sustain integrations with our SSP partners, troubleshoot integration issues comprehensively, and enhance the efficiency of our supply paths.

• Address production incidents by diagnosing header bidding, GAM/MCM, or wrapper behaviors with the necessary urgency, and follow up with long-lasting solutions.

• Effectively utilize contemporary AI coding tools (such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and others) to expedite research, prototyping, code reviews, and debugging — while aiding the team in elevating their overall proficiency in these tools.

• Offer constructive and critical feedback during code reviews, and mentor colleagues through pair programming, design discussions, and PR evaluations.

• Engage in sprint planning, scoping, and estimation, while contributing to team strategy beyond immediate tasks.

• Remain informed about the ad tech landscape — including developments in Prebid, changes in GAM and MCM, privacy regulations, identity solutions, and AI-driven supply trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in program management, product operations, delivery leadership, or similar operational leadership positions.

• Experience working in dynamic, founder-led, or executive-driven product organizations.

• Strong grasp of software development processes, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional product delivery systems.

• Proven track record in managing complex prioritization decisions, dependencies, and organizational trade-offs effectively.

• Established ability to influence stakeholders and foster alignment between technical and business teams.

• Exceptional skills in organization, communication, and leadership.

• Strong analytical and operational problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in developing scalable operational processes and delivery frameworks.
