This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in technical design discussions to identify and document technical solutions.
• Create microservices utilizing AWS serverless architecture.
• Act as a trusted advisor with a consultative approach when interacting with stakeholders.
• Contribute to building and sustaining a top-tier team culture through collaboration, open communication, and honest feedback.
• Promote continuous improvement in system efficiency and flexibility while maintaining high standards for customer trust, performance, and availability.
• Offer technical guidance to junior engineers within the team.
• Maintain legacy code as required while developing future state systems and solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4-8 years of hands-on development experience with modern programming languages, including NodeJS and Python.
• Specific experience in designing and implementing both REST and event-based services using the AWS tool suite, including Lambda functions, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, etc.
• Experience in implementing and supporting SaaS/Cloud software solutions, including development/support functionality to integrate with internal systems.
• Proficient in developing with AWS services: Lambdas, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, IAM, STS.
• Familiarity with both non-relational and multiple relational database platforms (RDS).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience in developing and deploying APIs (a must-have).
• Experience in building infrastructure with Cloud Formation Templates (CFTs).
