Software Engineer, Generative AI Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Lead the research and development of sophisticated multi-agent workflows, chains, and collaborative problem-solving methodologies.

• Create and validate security models for cross-organizational agent interactions, which include detailed Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and user token forwarding mechanisms.

• Design and implement innovative prompting techniques and agent tool-chains that yield reliable, structured outputs for intricate enterprise tasks.

• Build proof-of-concept AI agents and tools utilizing our Platform as a Service (PaaS) architecture.

• Develop and deploy essential services of the PaaS, such as agent registration, message routing, detailed permission checks, and a centralized management API.

• Take ownership of the platform, ensuring the automated, secure, and efficient rollout of new features and infrastructure modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing LLM-powered agents and multi-step agentic workflows for over 1 year.

• Knowledge of security principles in distributed systems, particularly Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within an enterprise framework.

• Proven ability to create prompts that generate reliable, structured JSON or other data formats from LLMs.

• Over 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Python and practical experience in coding AI-native tools and applications.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments and development for Platform as a Service (PaaS) models.

• NICE TO HAVES: Familiarity with Google's Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol or comparable inter-agent communication standards.

• Experience in context engineering using technologies such as MCP servers, knowledge bases, and tool registries.

• Background in architecting and building systems that integrate with various enterprise identity and access management tools.

• Knowledge of building applications that connect with enterprise search technologies.

• Experience in developing stateful, real-time messaging applications using technologies like Redis, Kafka, WebSockets, or Server-Side Events.

• Published research or contributions to open-source projects in the field of AI agents or multi-agent systems.

• Practical experience in securing applications and data within a multi-tenant or cross-organizational context.
