Generative AI Engineer – LATAM Candidates Only

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI technologies.

• Create and sustain scalable AI applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Develop and enhance Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval systems.

• Fine-tune, assess, and monitor foundation models to boost performance, accuracy, and reliability.

• Apply prompt engineering techniques and AI orchestration frameworks to facilitate business applications.

• Collaborate with software engineering, data science, DevOps, and security teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into production environments.

• Create APIs, microservices, and AI-driven applications adhering to software engineering best practices.

• Ensure adherence to AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI standards.

• Monitor AI workloads, model performance, and operational expenses, suggesting ongoing improvements.

• Keep abreast of emerging Generative AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, data science, or Generative AI development.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.

• Practical experience in building and deploying applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or similar.

• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python and experience with REST APIs and backend development.

• Experience in implementing RAG architectures, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Azure AI Search, or similar), and document processing pipelines.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, or GCP) and AI-related services.

• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, model evaluation techniques, and MLOps practices.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and production deployments.

• Strong understanding of security, data privacy, and responsible AI principles.

• Experience working in Agile development settings.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have experience working with U.S. clients.
