Software Engineer, Edge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of edge networking configurations, including routing, WAF policies, rate limiting, and certificate management.

• Enhance the ingress layer to ensure that inbound traffic is dependable, observable, and self-serviceable.

• Oversee DNS management across both internal clusters and external zones.

• Develop observability at the network layer, focusing on latency, error rates, and routing visibility.

• Assist Persona's regional growth by integrating networking into new geographical areas.

• Contribute to defining the team's practices and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and deploying production services in a polyglot environment (Go, TypeScript, or similar).

• Skilled in diagnosing production issues at the network layer.

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes networking, including ingress controllers, DNS, and network policies.

• Experience managing infrastructure as code in real-world applications.

• Background in building internal platforms or tools with a successful track record of promoting adoption among engineering teams.
