Software Engineer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, and develop Standard Metrics’ primary product as a key member of the engineering team.

• Take full ownership of outcomes, supporting and enhancing them through iterations, documentation, and bug fixes (we do not have a QA team).

• Work closely with the product team to scope and define features that will effectively help the company achieve its desired outcomes aligned with our goals and values.

• Actively contribute to fostering a positive company culture and assist in future hiring initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development.

• Proficiency in Python, with a preference for experience in the Django framework.

• Proven track record of building and delivering web applications.

• Preferred expertise in modern infrastructure technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, CircleCI, etc.), though not mandatory.

• Familiarity with and commitment to modern software development practices (Gitflow, continuous integration, peer reviews, etc.).
