This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Develop and launch features that bring joy to millions of players each day

• Take ownership of gameplay features from inception to release and subsequent iterations

• Decompose product requirements into technical tasks while providing accurate estimates

• Craft clean, efficient, and maintainable Roblox Lua code that adheres to team standards

• Design and implement systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and producers to create high-quality gameplay experiences

• Monitor live features, assess performance, and proactively resolve issues

• Identify opportunities to enhance codebase quality, development processes, and system reliability

• Engage actively in code reviews and contribute to the team's engineering practices

• Playtest features to enhance player experience (UX, responsiveness, polish)

• 1–3+ years of experience in Roblox or relevant game development

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills

• Experience delivering features or games in a production setting

• Strong communication skills with a sense of ownership and a collaborative mindset

• Ability to independently develop features with moderate guidance

• Proficient in communication and cross-functional collaboration

• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development processes

• Nice to Have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience in a development team

• Experience shipping games or features on Roblox or similar platforms

• Background in game jams or modding

• Understanding of live game systems (analytics, economy tuning, balancing)

• Experience in optimizing performance for multiplayer or real-time systems
