Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a distributed team on both the frontend and backend of our cloud-based platform.

• Engage in agile development through writing, reviewing, maintaining, testing, and deploying code.

• Create integrations with various applications and systems within our cloud ecosystem.

• Take part in code reviews, mentor fellow team members, and promote best coding practices.

• Design and implement architecture based on product and feature specifications.

• Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.

• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years of Software Engineering experience, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Familiarity with the complete product development lifecycle.

• Demonstrated capability to deconstruct complex problems and identify, diagnose, and resolve any bugs or issues.

• Knowledge of systems development concepts (e.g., REST APIs, Authentication, Event-driven architectures).

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture.

• Capacity to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members in a remote setting.

• Current security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance (preferred).

• Prior experience in national security (preferred).

• Familiarity with the technologies we utilize (preferred).

• Experience in a startup environment (preferred).

• A strong passion for the software engineering discipline (preferred).

• Ability to adopt, create, and iterate on evolving procedures (preferred).

• Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices (preferred).
