📋 Description

• Rackner is seeking a Software Engineer to create and deliver top-notch solutions within a DevSecOps framework, utilizing the latest cloud-native technologies to design and implement containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes platforms, all while adhering to best practices and utilizing leading technologies with a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

• As a member of an Agile team, apply DevSecOps best practices to swiftly develop and provide high-quality solutions for a DoD client.

• Write software using leading languages and frameworks, such as Python and FastAPI, AWS, and Rancher Kubernetes.


⛳️ Requirements

• A B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience working within an Agile team employing DevOps methodologies and modern programming languages and frameworks to develop and engineer data-related services and applications for platform loading.

• Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks including Python (FastAPI), Flask, JavaScript (Node.js, Express, Vue, Svelte, React), and Java (Spring Boot).

• Experience in developing data-centric solutions, including designing and implementing OpenAPI compliant data schemas and REST APIs, creating data persistence and query logic with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) libraries and SQL, and enforcing data validation business rules.

• Enhance AWS cloud solutions with a particular emphasis on data services such as S3, RDS, and EMR.

• Refine containerized applications using Docker and/or OCI compliant containers.

• Employ Test Driven Development practices and CI/CD pipelines to integrate security early and consistently develop and release software in small increments that meet security, quality, and testing compliance standards.

• Familiarity with Linux systems and command line tools.
