Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable and reliable software solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Employ AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code to enhance engineering efficiency, software quality, and developer productivity.

• Review, refine, and validate outputs from AI tools to ensure alignment with architectural, compliance, and security standards.

• Engage in technical design reviews, architectural discussions, and code evaluations.

• Lead technical decisions for complex projects from design to production deployment.

• Mentor both software and QA engineers.

• Take ownership of production systems, promoting operational excellence through monitoring, observability, automation, and continuous improvement.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues and critical customer escalations.

• Contribute to the automation of CI/CD, enhance platform reliability, and improve developer experience.

• Collaborate with leadership across Product, Architecture, Operations, and Engineering.

• Promote engineering best practices regarding quality, scalability, testing, documentation, maintainability, and security.

• Assist with sprint planning, estimation, delivery coordination, and Agile execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in building and maintaining distributed software applications.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft .NET/C#, Java, and cloud-native technologies.

• Proficient in designing and implementing scalable APIs, distributed systems, and backend services.

• Experienced in building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and engineering automation.

• Strong knowledge of software quality, observability, scalability, resiliency, and operational excellence.

• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across teams.

• Skilled in leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance development workflows and outcomes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React and/or Angular, RESTful APIs, AWS, Azure, or GCP, RabbitMQ, MSMQ, NServiceBus, CI/CD and DevOps tools, observability and monitoring platforms, and AI-assisted engineering tools including Claude Code.

• Ability to work remotely within the United States during EST or CST hours.

• Willingness to travel domestically within the U.S. for occasional in-person events and meetings.
