Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Investigate potential issues within various systems.

• Develop requirements for software projects.

• Contribute to the establishment of architectural and design standards.

• Create and implement software solutions and recommendations.

• Manage change and release processes.

• Handle technical risks and opportunities while collaborating with other disciplines (such as Systems Engineering and Formal Testing), as well as management and team leadership.

• Develop software test plans and execute testing procedures.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant software standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering real-time and/or safety-critical software.

• Proficient in software development languages (such as TAL, C, and C++).

• Familiarity with scripting languages (like Python and TACL).

• Experience in systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing.

• Understanding of configuration management in a software engineering context.

• Comprehensive experience throughout the entire project life cycle, from bidding to operational delivery.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear technical guidance.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and engage with various stakeholders.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in email, presentations, and reports.

• Capability to foster effective working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
