This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct thorough code analysis of complex systems
• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products for both employees and customers
• Engage in the entire software development life cycle
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on various projects
• Create applications and refine product specifications
• Evaluate technical and operational requirements alongside team leaders, internal resources, and clients
• Analyze project requirements and contribute to design and development based on chosen architectures
• Develop solutions that are reliable, secure, straightforward, efficient, and easy to maintain
• Estimate design scope and take part in design review sessions
• Execute programming tasks to achieve design goals
• Carry out unit and system-level testing
• Aid in product test planning, documentation, and troubleshooting
• Review code on developers' pull requests
• Participate in self-directed projects and research initiatives for Team Sprint
• Keep professional and technical knowledge up-to-date through workshops, publications, networks, and professional organizations
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field from an accredited institution
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and techniques, including C#, C++, or Java
• Experience working with the Microsoft .NET Framework and C#, or related languages like Java or C++
• Familiarity with database systems such as SQL and/or ORM tools
• Proficient in web programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and single-page applications like React or Angular
• Experience with WPF or other client application development technologies
• Knowledge of unit testing or functional testing methods for C# and/or React
• Experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
• Capability to integrate AI tools into planning, design, implementation, code review, and testing processes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud services like AWS or Google Cloud
• Experience with containers, container orchestration, or microservices technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of design patterns and concepts including MVVM and Inversion of Control
• Knowledge of leveraging LLMs in application features
• Proficient in technical writing and creating design documentation
