Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain integration services that link WMS to ERP systems, carriers, and trading partners.

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of product architecture and integration patterns within 9–12 months.

• Independently design and develop feature enhancements while troubleshooting bugs with the squad.

• Deliver high-caliber products punctually while adhering to velocity, quality, and estimation accuracy metrics.

• Act as the custodian for the squad's code, processes, and best practices.

• Detect gaps and suggest improvements in integration architecture.

• Uncover opportunities for innovation and ongoing enhancement.

• Refine product development methodologies to boost productivity and quality.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Clearly communicate requirements and align solutions with the organization's objectives.

• Generate technical documentation, code demonstrations, and succinct written communications.

• Engage in the Agile process.

• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the establishment of team standards and best practices.

• Proactively identify and address gaps in integration reliability and error handling.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in C# .NET development.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in an Agile development setting.

• Proven history of delivering high-quality commercial software.

• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members.

• Demonstrated capability to articulate significant technical challenges and their respective solutions.

• Proficient in spoken and written English.

• Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET Framework 4.8.

• Solid understanding of JavaScript.

• Proficient in OData/REST APIs, including Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Experience in creating and consuming WCF services.

• Familiarity with MSSQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and complex queries.

• Knowledge of NHibernate ORM mappings, session management, and Criteria API.

• Experience in EDI document processing (850, 856, 810, 753).

• Expertise in JSON/XML data transformation and mapping.

• Skills in debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git version control, including branching and pull request workflows.
