Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that underpin essential product features.

• Utilize Postgres database to structure data, create efficient queries, and uphold data integrity and performance.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to facilitate comprehensive feature development.

• Produce clean, thoroughly tested, and maintainable code adhering to established engineering best practices.

• Engage in code reviews, debugging, and resolution of production issues under the mentorship of senior engineers.

• Acquire and implement secure, scalable backend patterns while actively contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.

• Strong programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Golang, TypeScript.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing APIs.

• Practical experience with relational databases and SQL, including schema design, query writing, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering, along with practical experience in integrating AI-driven features.

• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning principles.

• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.

• Knowledge of Rust is a plus.
