Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain a customer-oriented dashboard, billing system, internal tools, and ancillary products.

• Design and create backend APIs and services utilizing Go.

• Work in close collaboration with designers to convert Figma specifications into refined, accessible user interfaces.

• Engage with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, ArangoDB) to establish effective data access patterns.

• Collaborate with dedicated backend and frontend engineers on integrations and shared services.

• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code while focusing on performance and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and assist in upholding engineering quality standards.

• Continuously enhance development workflows through the use of AI tools and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial development experience in both frontend and backend.

• An AI-first mindset: actively incorporating AI coding assistants and agents into daily workflows to enhance productivity and code quality.

• Strong expertise in Vue.js (preferably Nuxt) or React/Next.js, along with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Capability to take full ownership of features: from comprehending requirements to deploying to production with minimal oversight.

• Experience in building and maintaining design systems or component libraries.

• Familiarity with edge computing platforms (e.g., Cloudflare Workers or similar).

• Excellent asynchronous communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously, make informed decisions, and drive features to completion.

• Solid JavaScript and TypeScript competencies.

• Proficiency in Go for creating APIs and backend services.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis.

• Knowledge of message brokers (NATS, Kafka, or similar).

• Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
