This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop components for the next-generation platform architecture.

• Create new services and APIs that gradually enhance or replace legacy functionality.

• Implement modern engineering practices, tools, and infrastructure as needed.

• Develop AI-first experiences.

• Maintain and support existing production systems critical to the business.

• Execute targeted enhancements and stability fixes while minimizing unnecessary disruptions.

• Identify opportunities for modernization that can alleviate operational risks or reduce technical debt.

• Enhance observability, documentation, and operational reliability of legacy systems.

• Author high-quality, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in architecture discussions regarding system evolution and modernization strategies.

• Collaborate with platform, product, and infrastructure teams to achieve incremental improvements.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and practical engineering.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in a software engineering position.

• Proficient in working with various database platforms: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.

• Familiarity with cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Experience in developing scalable microservices.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines: Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD.

• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar tools.

• Full-stack development experience with multiple programming languages, including Javascript/Typescript, Java, C#, and Scala.

• Monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, Datadog, Loki.

• Experience with existing systems or mature codebases, beyond just greenfield projects.

• Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and system analysis capabilities.

• Familiarity with modern development practices, including:

• version control

• automated testing

• CI/CD pipelines

• Capacity to evaluate system design, architecture trade-offs, and technical debt.
