Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of comprehensive features for Gauntlet’s decentralized application, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to provide a unified and well-integrated user experience.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers, promoting teamwork and knowledge exchange.

• Participate in systems design and architectural discussions to create robust backend services that support the application.

• Actively engage in code reviews and design meetings, advocating for best practices and maintaining high-quality coding standards.

• Work together with product managers and researchers to convert requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, focusing on full-stack engineering.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript for full-stack development.

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement user-centric applications that prioritize seamless user experiences.

• Robust experience with backend systems and APIs, including systems design and architecture.

• Familiarity with Python or the capability to be language agnostic.

• Proven track record of effective collaboration with other engineers and mentoring team members.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with a focus on the application development lifecycle.

• Strong communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively in a distributed team setting.
