Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain clean, dependable TypeScript code for both frontend and backend applications.

• Work in collaboration with engineers, Quality Assurance professionals, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to strategize, develop, and launch new features.

• Develop unit and integration tests while contributing to a robust CI/CD framework that guarantees safe and reliable releases.

• Deploy and manage software on AWS utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

• Participate in code reviews, retrospectives, and regular feedback sessions to enhance engineering skills.

• Seek opportunities to optimize development processes using AI-driven tools and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript (Node.js & React) along with a solid foundation in JavaScript.

• Proficient in building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with experience in databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

• Comfortable with basic cloud development on AWS, utilizing CI/CD pipelines (we use GitHub Actions) and tools like Terraform.

• Familiar with writing tests in Jest and aware of the significance of test coverage, maintainability, and regression safety.

• Skilled with Git and knowledgeable about Jira, Confluence, and collaborative engineering practices.

• Enjoy tackling engineering challenges and are adept at breaking down tasks, asking questions, and navigating through ambiguity.

• Eager to learn from colleagues and develop as a full-stack engineer, actively engaging in a team dedicated to continuous improvement.
