Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• An independent contributor responsible for delivering intricate stories, sharing best practices, informally mentoring junior team members, and showcasing developing full-stack expertise.

• A seasoned engineer who continuously improves team efficiency, mentors peers, emphasizes quality, and designs features using innovative or complex technical methods.

• A technical leader within a project who steers development, supports team capacity, ensures high-quality outcomes, and participates in architectural decision-making.

• A senior technical authority who designs complex solutions, leads development teams, manages estimation and DevOps progress, and ensures project success and sprint commitments.

• A hands-on delivery leader accountable for comprehensive technical supervision, managing scope and risks, leading code reviews/POCs, and guaranteeing successful project results.

• A senior technical leader managing multiple client projects, ensuring successful delivery, mentoring managers/coaches, and promoting quality and technical excellence across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Agile environments, effectively communicating progress, addressing blockers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• A strong commitment to high-quality delivery, with a keen eye for detail, code quality, and testing practices.

• Alignment with Praxent’s Core Values and the ability to foster a positive, collaborative team atmosphere.

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with client stakeholders to clarify requirements, discuss technical strategies, and provide demonstrations.

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Developing modern, visually appealing user interfaces (with React or Angular preferred), creating data-driven REST APIs (using Python, Go, Node, or Java), or managing cloud infrastructure, servers, or databases (AWS preferred).

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
