This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend software components utilizing modern C++.

• Create and implement algorithms that aggregate and process data from various sensors.

• Develop and enhance real-time image and data processing pipelines.

• Construct and integrate user interfaces using Qt and QML, linked to C++ backends.

• Ensure high standards of software quality through code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate closely with systems, embedded, and UI/UX engineers.

• Contribute throughout the entire development lifecycle: requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and documentation.

• Significant commercial experience with C++.

• Practical experience with Qt / QML.

• Background in real-time, embedded, or performance-critical systems.

• Ability to work on intricate systems that merge software, hardware, and data.

• Comfortable working remotely within a collaborative engineering team.

• Experience in the Defence or Maritime sectors.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
