This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with a dynamic team of Engineers to develop, launch, and maintain the Achievers Platform along with associated services for user lifecycle management and HRIS integrations.

• The technology stack includes: Python, Go, PHP, React, Kubernetes, Docker, Pub/Sub, GraphQL, microservices, and more.

• Independently tackle complex tasks, designing small to mid-sized components for user data management and HRIS integration systems.

• Create scalable solutions that enhance system performance and accommodate large-scale user lifecycle events.

• Diagnose issues across the entire stack, from API integrations to database performance.

• Proactively review colleagues' code for quality, maintainability, and compliance with architectural standards.

• Provide effort estimates for mid-to-large initiatives and contribute significantly to sprint planning and technical discussions.

• Start mentoring junior engineers, sharing insights and encouraging collaborative development.

• Keep current with emerging technologies and corporate engineering guidelines, best practices, processes, and tools.

• Ensure that systems, designs, and decisions are thoroughly documented, facilitating easier understanding, maintenance, and expansion of your work by other engineers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a master's degree in computer science (preferred) or a related field.

• 3-6 years of pertinent software engineering experience.

• Experience in Agile team environments.

• Exceptional programming skills in any language, with a preference for knowledge of Python, Go, and/or PHP.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).

• Strong comprehension of Microservice Architecture and system design principles.

• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop technical design documents that align with the company's architectural standards.

• Capability to manage and understand multiple domains, involving numerous cross-team projects.

• Willingness to learn and explore new concepts.

• Outstanding verbal communication skills.
