Software Engineer – AAA Games

📋 Description

• Design, develop, document, test, and implement systems and game code.

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other team members involved in the development process to produce the highest quality product possible.

• Contribute to the creation of technical design specifications and implement them effectively.

• Test and enhance gameplay features throughout the project's development cycle.

• Estimate personal tasks and deliver high-quality code according to the established schedule.

• Conduct code reviews with the team to maintain code quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in C++ and/or C#, with a strong skill set in at least one of these languages.

• Over 3 years of professional software engineering experience in the gaming industry or related fields involving real-time interactive development.

• Familiarity with commercial game engines such as Unreal Engine and/or Unity.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across various locations, ensuring clear communication and teamwork across disciplines.

• Experience in shipping at least one game in a professional role.

• Preferred: Knowledge of industry-standard development practices, including source control, asset pipelines, issue tracking, and external QA and localization teams.

• Exposure to ongoing product development and delivery after launch.

• Experience with continuous integration and build automation.

• Background in Agile development environments.

• Familiarity with art packages and pipeline development.

• Experience with low-level optimization, shader programming, physics, or mathematics.

• We are hiring at both mid and senior levels, with responsibilities adjusted based on experience.
