Software Engineer 1, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced developers, engaging in a variety of tasks ranging from developing substantial features to addressing on-call bugs.

• Your responsibilities will include designing and creating new APIs, optimizing and resolving issues in existing APIs, and writing tests for these APIs.

• Addressing any on-call bugs will be your top priority, followed by continuing your work on the feature development scheduled for the sprint.

• Furthermore, if you have a background or interest in front-end development, you will have the opportunity to contribute to front-end projects using NextJS and jQuery.

⛳️ Requirements

• An AI-first mindset when tackling problems.

• At least 0.5 years of full-time experience with Python and Django/Django REST framework (DRF).

• A solid understanding of MySQL, Git, and GitHub/GitLab.

• Strong debugging skills and proficiency in online research.

• Effective communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to address basic data structures and algorithms challenges.
