Software Development Manager – Java

📋 Description

• Lead a small team of highly driven developers and Systems Analysts.

• Assess and address customer requirements in a manner that provides long-term advantages to WEX by identifying strategic solutions to challenges and advancing those initiatives.

• Address customer-reported issues; assume responsibility for the support process and work collaboratively to identify optimal solutions.

• Become a subject matter expert in the product domain and devise methods to assist team members in acquiring expertise.

• Participate in the development and upkeep of the application architecture.

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in team management.

• More than 4 years of experience with Java.

• At least 2 years of experience with cloud solutions (Azure, Google, Amazon).

• Over 4 years of experience working on agile teams to deliver software incrementally.

• Proficient in designing and architecting applications.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Level technologies.

• Exceptional analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
