This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Create automation and performance scripts that adhere to organizational standards, developing dependable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites and test harnesses for all Salesforce and Order to Cash related technologies.
• Utilize tools and frameworks to generate automation and performance scripts with high-quality code to streamline testing scenarios.
• Design and create test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications, execute these test cases, and analyze and report the results to the teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the timely delivery of business functionality that meets the required quality and acceptance criteria.
• Engage in internal and cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, and technical reviews for assigned projects within an Agile framework.
• Actively participate in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
• Gather quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions.
• Estimate and conduct risk analysis for quality delivery.
• Contribute to the larger testing team for the success of Order to Cash projects, primarily focusing on Salesforce and Oracle platforms.
• Design and implement automation solutions that conform to organizational standards, ensuring the creation of reliable, reusable, and maintainable automated regression suites and test harnesses.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and that testing activities remain on schedule.
• Maintain Behavior Driven Development (BDD)/Test Driven Development (TDD) practices, along with DevOps/Continuous Integration within an Agile Scrum/SAFe model.
• Exhibit problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills, considering multiple options and factors to propose effective solutions.
• Capable of articulating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in programming with Python, C#, Java, or other languages.
• Minimum of 3 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in a QA Automation role.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices and experience with Agile methodology are highly desirable.
• Proficient in performance testing tools such as HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, StormRunner, or JMeter.
• Experience in programming with Python, C#, Java, or other languages.
• Skilled in designing and developing automated tests using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress across application layers (UI/Service/Data layers) and conducting root cause analysis.
• Experience with testing in Continuous Integration, DevOps, and rolling deployment/upgrade models is a plus.
• Ability to guide the team in identifying automatable test cases across different layers (UI, Services, and Data layer tests).
• Strongly desirable ability to collaborate with developers to create automation and performance-friendly code.
• Extensive experience and understanding of Test Strategy, with the capability to design and implement effective strategies.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform testing strategies.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and source control tools, with a preference for knowledge of GitHub and Jenkins.
• Good understanding of building and utilizing automation frameworks.
• Strong background in Salesforce QA and Automation with experience in identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases, and testing results.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and strong communication capabilities.
• Experience as an integral part of a Scrum/Agile engineering team, working collaboratively with software engineers, testing engineers, and product managers throughout the development cycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively present to diverse audiences.
