This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Showcase proficiency in the software development methodologies utilized by Scrum teams.
• Create product functionalities for various platforms, including data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Engage in the transition to public cloud services within the team as necessary.
• Contribute to test automation efforts and participate in peer review processes to enhance product quality.
• Uphold a production-first approach, concentrating on scalability, uptime, and the swift resolution of production-related issues.
• Commit to advancing our Agile practices to consistently enhance product quality, reduce time to market, and improve team member satisfaction.
• Proficient in software development using the high-level programming language employed by the product team.
• Skilled in data and query analysis and optimization to provide scalable, high-performance products and services.
• Experience in test data management to facilitate automated, repeatable, and reliable testing processes.
• Involved in developing new features, automated testing, and the implementation of security measures.
• Proven experience working within Agile Scrum teams, actively suggesting and contributing to enhancements (improving efficiency, speed, and satisfaction).
• Demonstrates strong software development capabilities.
• Regularly engages in peer reviews and seeks feedback to enhance software development skills.
• Builds relationships to effectively achieve objectives and manage dependencies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• The Software Development Engineer (SDE) will have experience with the following technologies relevant to the product being developed:
• Pipeline Automation: Azure DevOps (YAML, ARM), Terraform.
• Code Scanning: SonarQube, Checkmarx.
• Source Code Repositories: Git.
• User Interface: ASP.NET MVC.
• Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes (open source), Docker.
• High-level programming languages: Java, C# (.NET MVC and .NET Core).
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash.
• Database Management: Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL (e.g., CosmosDB).
• Test Automation: Specflow/ReqnRoll, Selenium, Postman, Maven, TestNG, JMeter.
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux.
• Cloud Native Hosting: Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and PaaS is preferred.
