Software Developer II – ShareGate Migrate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver new features and enhancements to the ShareGate Migration Tool that users recognize and appreciate.

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Product Designer to convert customer requirements into implemented solutions that address real user challenges.

• Update the codebase to ensure the application remains efficient, maintainable, and in line with current engineering practices.

• Enhance our testing frameworks to identify regressions early and maintain product reliability as it expands.

• Assist the support team with intricate technical issues to expedite customer resolutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering commercial products that have strong customer uptake;

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining desktop or commercial applications using C#/.NET.

• In-depth knowledge of dependency injection principles.

• Skilled in utilizing AI tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to enhance development processes, including code generation, review, documentation, and debugging.

• Strong discernment regarding AI-generated content, with full responsibility for the security, quality, and accuracy of the deployed code.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex technical issues.

• A talent for clear, proactive communication and active listening. You take ownership of your work, operate with transparency, and keep your team informed.

• Experience with React is advantageous.

• Familiarity with integrating into the Microsoft API ecosystem (Graph SDK, MSAL, SharePoint CSOM/REST) is a bonus.
