This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
β’ Develop high-quality, testable, and efficient code by adhering to best software development practices, including the integration of data from various back-end services and databases.
β’ Support, enhance, and scale enterprise-level software solutions.
β’ Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
β’ Collaborate with architects and senior developers to fulfill functional requirements and coordinate with UI/UX designers to align with visual design objectives.
β’ Design and construct simple components and business logic functionalities: Transform functional specifications into final code solutions for straightforward components and units of business logic.
β’ Provide updates on project status, which includes logging activities and communicating status to both managers and end users; crafting professional responses to project inquiries; and actively engaging in meetings.
β’ Perform additional functions, which include ongoing training such as technical reading, classes, and on-the-job training; keeping current with emerging trends and assessing their applicability to operations and activities; fulfilling on-call duties on a rotational basis or as necessary; and addressing user help requests promptly.
β’ A minimum of two years of programming experience is required.
β’ Proficient in fundamental concepts related to relational database systems, Object-Oriented Programming, and web application development.
β’ Skilled in creating interfaces using modern HTML/CSS.
β’ Experienced in developing functional solutions using more than one of the following: Vue, Angular, JavaScript, .NET MVC; Entity Framework; REST.
β’ Capable of demonstrating effective unit and integration test design and implementation.
β’ Proficient in debugging with modern IDEs, preferably Visual Studio.
β’ Experienced in working collaboratively in a team environment using modern source control management (SCM) systems, preferably Azure DevOps and Git.
β’ Familiar with modern data structures and formats, ideally JSON and XML.
β’ Knowledgeable in contemporary project management methodologies, preferably Agile.
β’ Experienced in deploying through CI/CD release pipeline platforms, preferably Azure DevOps.
β’ Strong problem diagnosis abilities and creative problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets, along with business acumen.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote team environment, rapidly learn, and master diverse technologies and techniques.
β’ Professional oral and written communication skills are essential.
β’ Desired qualities include values, work intensity, achievement orientation, positivity, relationship-building, resourcefulness, and precision.
β’ May require working over 40 hours a week to fulfill the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
β’ Availability to participate in night and weekend "on-call" rotations for production-level system and application outages may be required.
β’ Consistent and reliable attendance is a crucial aspect of this position.
