Software Developer – Dynamics 365 Business Central

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions in Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.

• Create and customize extensions utilizing the AL programming language.

• Assume complete responsibility for features—from requirement analysis through to deployment.

• Develop and improve ERP functionalities in line with business needs.

• Create integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, and .NET.

• Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards.

• Enhance performance and troubleshoot intricate technical challenges.

• Perform unit testing and assist in system/integration testing.

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve production challenges.

• Provide continual support and enhancements after deployment.

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, QA, and product teams.

• Engage in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge exchange.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV development.

• Proficient in AL programming and extension creation.

• Familiarity with .NET/C# for integrations or support services.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.

• Practical experience with Visual Studio Code and version control (Git).

• 3–8 years of software development experience.

• Demonstrated experience in ERP implementations or product development.

• Skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and resolving issues.

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, DevOps).

• Knowledge of finance/accounting modules in ERP systems.

• Experience in product-based or SaaS environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
