Software Developer, C++ Co-op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• You will actively participate in design discussions and assist in shaping new initiatives.

• You will have taken charge of a project or feature.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with C++ through projects, work experience, or academic courses.

• Completion of several C++ technical electives at your educational institution.

• A strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

• Highly independent and adept at navigating extensive codebases.

• Capacity to take ownership and resolve complex tasks effectively.

• A passion for writing maintainable code.

• A positive demeanor and strong communication abilities.

• Familiarity with version control systems and code review processes.

• Samples showcasing clean, well-documented, fully functional code.

• Proven C++ skills through personal, open-source, or professional projects beyond academic coursework.

• Practical development experience outside of an academic environment.

• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proficiency with debugging tools (e.g., Visual Studio debugger, Chrome DevTools).

• Experience handling very large codebases.

• Experience with Chromium or other open-source initiatives.

• Enthusiasm for web browsing and browser technologies.
