Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with industry best practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to provide high-quality solutions.

• Develop both front-end and back-end components utilizing modern frameworks and technologies.

• Construct and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.

• Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval using SQL databases.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects as well as performance issues.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous enhancement of development processes.

• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment procedures.

• Operate within an Agile development framework, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and AI-driven development tools.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 2+ years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft stack technologies, including .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.

• Experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular.

• Familiarity with relational databases, preferably SQL Server.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and concepts related to distributed systems.

• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD practices (preferably Azure DevOps).

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
