This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Engaging as an integral member of the team on projects by collaborating with Product Owners to accomplish product development tasks.

• Working closely with all scrum team members on design and development initiatives.

• Adding value to the scrum team by analyzing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining high-quality software solutions as needed.

• Ensuring that project milestones are met and user stories are completed during sprints according to the definitions of done.

• Adhering to established standards and guidelines to deliver projects that provide high quality and substantial value to ASH and its customers.

• Acquiring, following, adapting, and implementing agile software development techniques, methodologies, and processes.

• Responsible for giving, receiving, and acting on constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement in processes, products, and personal development.

• Offering technical expertise to improve overall product performance, usability, aesthetics, and compliance with consistent patterns.

• Conducting code reviews and performing component, visual, functional, and automated testing.

• Collaborating with Technical Support to replicate and resolve customer issues as necessary.

• Undertaking additional job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Science, or equivalent experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in developing integrated suites of full-featured, web-based applications, including user interfaces, database access, and networked components.

• Proficiency in building applications using the following technologies: Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL Server, IIS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, and REST.

• Strong background and expertise in object-oriented software engineering, with demonstrable experience in implementing and testing high-quality software.

• Exceptional time management and multitasking skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Outstanding ability to collaborate effectively with others, whether in person or remotely.
