Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership to the development team, assisting in the establishment of standards, best practices, and architectural choices;

• Design and execute a comprehensive software architecture for a data management platform, guaranteeing scalability, performance, and security;

• Create technical architecture documentation that encompasses diagrams, standards, integrations, and detailed specifications of service contracts and APIs;

• Establish standards for development, versioning, and continuous integration;

• Ensure compliance with cloud architecture best practices, considering availability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness;

• Assist in formulating strategies for load, performance, and security testing of applications;

• Assess and suggest ongoing enhancements to the architecture to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability of the solution;

• Foster technical alignment among development, data, and infrastructure teams;

• Aid in defining non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, and observability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field;

• Postgraduate degree in IT, OR 6 certifications in relevant areas or agile methodologies;

• Proven experience in defining end-to-end software architecture;

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture best practices;

• Background in load testing, performance tuning, and application optimization;

• Expertise in security testing and secure development best practices;

• Experience in producing technical architecture documentation and specifying service contracts (APIs);

• Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership to development teams;

• Familiarity with AWS;

• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI;

• Experience with React and JavaScript;

• Knowledge of security tools and practices such as SAST, DAST, and penetration testing (Pentest);

• Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter.
