📋 Description

• Define and uphold the technical architecture, implementing practical patterns and guidelines that facilitate swift, high-quality feature delivery.

• Lead the technical initiatives for migrating, decoupling, and modernizing legacy systems, taking ownership of sequencing, risk mitigation strategies, and target-state designs to seamlessly extract core business domains.

• Establish the fundamental shared framework for integrating agentic workflows, intelligent automation, and LLM orchestration across the platform while ensuring strict compliance auditability and maintaining AI API latency under 100 ms.

• Serve as the primary technical authority to proactively address cross-team architectural dependencies and ensure alignment across infrastructure and codebases.

• Collaborate with Product leadership and the VP of Engineering to convert business milestones into an actionable technical roadmap, directly linking technical debt reduction to business outcomes.

• Author and integrate standardized design templates into the software development lifecycle that utilize AI-assisted tools, achieving 100% adoption across engineering pods and decreasing cycle times by 35% or more.

• Partner closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure that architectural blueprints are highly practical, realistic, and frictionless for execution.

• Design and implement LLM routing, caching, and model-governance architectures that optimize AI infrastructure costs to stay within 10% of the quarterly budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a dedicated architecture or principal/staff engineer role.

• A proven record of leading large-scale legacy modernization projects, including defining target-state architecture, sequencing domain decoupling, and executing migrations with no unplanned downtime.

• Demonstrated experience in architecting production-level AI/ML systems, encompassing LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation at scale.

• Extensive expertise in modern distributed systems architecture, microservices, event-driven design, API gateway patterns, and cloud-native infrastructure.

• Practical experience in designing and governing AI/ML platform infrastructure, including LLM routing, prompt engineering patterns, vector databases, model evaluation frameworks, and cost optimization strategies.

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline architecture, automated testing frameworks, and enterprise SaaS security and compliance standards.

• Experience collaborating with VP and C-suite stakeholders to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps and informed investment decisions.
