📋 Description

• Edit captivating short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and various other social media platforms for multiple brands.

• Convert raw footage, interviews, campus shoots, events, and B-roll into dynamic, platform-optimized social content.

• Spot engaging moments, hooks, trends, and storytelling perspectives that captivate viewers within the initial seconds.

• Adapt existing content into diverse platform-specific edits and variations.

• Incorporate captions, motion graphics, sound design, transitions, and other creative elements that boost performance and viewing time.

• Produce around 10–15 short-form edits weekly, depending on the complexity of the projects and the footage available.

• Work closely with the social media team to create content that aligns with brand voice, trends, and campaign objectives.

• Organize project files and uphold efficient editing workflows throughout ongoing content pipelines.

• Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm modifications, and new short-form techniques to enhance content effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in editing short-form social media content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Strong comprehension of platform-native editing styles, pacing, hooks, captions, audience retention, and attention spans.

• Capability to edit variably depending on the platform and audience while preserving brand consistency across multiple brands.

• Experience with subtitles, motion graphics, sound design, transitions, and social-first editing methodologies.

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software (experience with After Effects is a bonus).

• Familiarity with AI-assisted editing processes and contemporary creative tools that enhance speed and efficiency.

• Ability to generate a high volume of short-form edits consistently while ensuring quality standards are met.

• Knowledge of Google Drive and digital file management.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with rapid turnaround times and feedback cycles.
