Social Programmer – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Populate Bleacher Report’s social media channels with trending sports content across platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.

• Curate and share user-generated content, highlights, and interviews tailored to each specific platform.

• Keep a close eye on developments within the sports industry, with a focus on the NBA, NFL, and CFB.

• Identify captivating content suitable for social media, particularly on Instagram and X.

• Edit, package, and create engaging hooks for video footage tailored to each platform.

• Spot emerging trends prior to them gaining widespread popularity.

• Cover live sports events as they unfold, including evenings and weekends.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong understanding of the NBA, NFL, and CFB—both on and off the field.

• Actively engaged with the latest trends and editing techniques.

• Proficient in editing videos specifically for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

• Familiarity with Bleacher Report’s voice and content—what we cover and how we present it.

• Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere and CapCut.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

• Bonus: Knowledge of Meta and X platforms.

• Bonus: Familiarity with hockey, NASCAR, and tennis.
