Social Media Strategist, Content Creator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jersey.

📋 Description

• Develop thorough content strategies that are customized to meet various client objectives and target audiences, providing direct guidance on creation, brand positioning, and content distribution to achieve optimal reach and return on investment.

• Generate innovative ideas for native social content, engaging hooks, and platform-specific campaign strategies that are both creatively unique and commercially viable.

• Participate in client meetings and confidently articulate social strategies, clearly explaining the data and psychological rationale behind creative decisions.

• Refine social films, reels, and short-form video materials to a high-quality standard, ensuring that pacing and visual aesthetics align with social-first consumption patterns.

• Assist in the production process behind the scenes, helping with call sheets, shoot preparations, and balancing creative tasks with operational timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content creation within an agency or video production setting.

• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, current trends, and the workings of platform-specific algorithms.

• Demonstrated ability to independently edit high-performing short-form video content using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, complemented by strong presentation abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• A proactive and reliable attitude—able to serve as the internal expert on social media while working autonomously without continuous oversight.

• Conversational or professional proficiency in French is a significant advantage.

• Hands-on experience collaborating with film directors, camera teams, or within a structured production house environment.

• Familiarity with utilizing basic AI tools (like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or scripting assistants) to enhance workflow efficiency and facilitate quick ideation.
