Social Media Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the monthly content calendar for Reels, Shorts, Stories, and Posts.

• Collaborate with the central marketing team to ensure brand alignment and secure necessary approvals.

• Maintain a cohesive aesthetic, tone, and consistency across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and others.

• Work closely with in-house creators to produce UGC and brand narratives.

• Lead and manage shoot days, encompassing planning, scheduling, approvals, and execution.

• Edit content or liaise with editors for rapid turnarounds and trend-aligned formats.

• Identify campus influencers and storytellers to amplify their narratives.

• Engage communities through offline gatherings, content tasks, and mini-campaigns.

• Motivate the team to generate creative content.

• Monitor weekly performance metrics for posts, reels, and campaigns.

• Recommend data-driven enhancements to boost reach and engagement.

• Present monthly reports detailing insights and actionable next steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media strategy.

• Proven experience in developing and executing content calendars for Reels, Shorts, Stories, and Posts.

• Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and similar channels.

• Capability to coordinate UGC and brand-story productions.

• Proficient in planning, scheduling, securing approvals for, and executing shoot days.

• Editing skills or the ability to work with editors for swift turnarounds and trend-responsive formats.

• Ability to identify and collaborate with campus influencers and storytellers.

• Skills to activate communities through offline meetups, content tasks, and mini-campaigns.

• Proficient in tracking social media performance and offering data-driven recommendations.

• Ability to compile monthly reports with insights and proposed next steps.
