Social Media Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for TikTok and Instagram, starting from scratch.

• Establish content pillars, brand positioning, and a regular posting schedule.

• Transform client concepts into refined short-form content.

• Produce and edit content from start to finish, including Reels, TikTok, Shorts, short-form videos, graphics, captions, and copy.

• Spearhead the personal rebranding effort and create a unified, premium, education-focused identity.

• Generate content that informs audiences about life insurance, family protection, and generational wealth in an engaging, non-salesy manner.

• Cultivate the accounts organically to enhance inbound interest, foster community, and generate referrals.

• Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and continuously improve the strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building and expanding TikTok and Instagram accounts, with a portfolio showcasing clear results.

• Proficient in short-form video creation, including ideation, filming direction, and editing.

• Strong capabilities in graphic design, caption writing, and copywriting.

• Proven history of developing personal or founder-led brands, including rebranding efforts.

• An exceptional eye for premium, aspirational aesthetics that appear curated rather than corporate or mass-market.

• Ability to simplify and engage audiences on educational or complex subjects; familiarity with finance or insurance is advantageous.

• Emphasis on organic growth through community engagement and referrals rather than reliance on paid advertising.

• Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, capable of following guidance and taking initiative without being inflexible.
