Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and implement PURE's social media strategy across major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, and others), establishing clear KPIs for growth, engagement, and conversion.

• Develop bold, premium campaigns that ignite meaningful discussions surrounding dating, relationships, and connection, consistently reflecting PURE's unique voice.

• Transform cultural moments and trends into timely content opportunities that elevate PURE's mission.

• Plan, film, and edit UGC-style and creator-led content, and feel at ease stepping in front of the camera when necessary.

• Cultivate and maintain a highly engaged community through proactive and authentic interactions—actively participating in conversations rather than merely posting.

• Engage with cultural conversations and spaces in an innovative and fearless manner, recognizing when and how to ensure PURE's tone and voice resonate with the appropriate audience in the right context.

• Oversee paid social campaigns from inception to completion, including setup, optimization, and reporting, making this a central and high-priority aspect of the role.

• Drive a data-informed content strategy, leveraging analytics to enhance performance and ROI.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, copy, and performance teams to translate product moments and features into culturally relevant content.

• Establish strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, brands, creators, and collaborators, balancing independent ownership of your tasks with genuine cross-functional teamwork.

• Embrace creative risks, experiment with new formats, test innovative ideas, and swiftly learn from both successes and setbacks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and executing social media strategies for consumer brands, ideally with some exposure to product marketing.

• Practical experience managing paid social ad campaigns—including setup, optimization, budget oversight, and performance analysis.

• Proven track record of organically growing audiences and a solid understanding of paid social fundamentals.

• A strong portfolio showcasing campaigns that achieved real, measurable outcomes as opposed to just vanity metrics.

• Comfortable appearing on camera and producing quick, native-feeling UGC content, rather than solely directing others.

• Familiarity with working in a sex-positive environment, and a creative, conscious approach within that context.

• Experience handling sensitive or nuanced topics with tact, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity.

• A genuinely inquisitive, cross-functional approach—enthusiastic about collaborating closely with product, design, and performance teams rather than working in isolation.

• A global outlook—has experience with or an interest in engaging with audiences beyond a single home market.

• Deeply engaged with dating, relationships, culture, music, art, and nightlife—someone actively living in these realms rather than merely observing.

• A creative problem-solver who can adeptly navigate (and cleverly work around) platform content regulations.
