Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage all social media and promotional initiatives for VAMOS brands (e.g., The Give N Go, Duel Nats) and various social platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Discord, etc.).

• Direct content creation and collaborate with the wider VAMOS team to guarantee effective distribution across all channels.

• Remain updated on the latest changes in social media algorithms and content trends, providing regular updates to the team on how to integrate these changes into daily content and workflows.

• Collaborate with the VAMOS production team to conceptualize, produce, and deliver distinctive content; assisting in identifying optimal “social” material that can be derived from video-first productions.

• Partner directly with VAMOS and MIB leadership on content strategy, which includes synthesizing analytics, gaining audience insights, and identifying content trends.

• Provide real-time coverage for significant match events (e.g., World Cup Qualifiers, Copa América, Champions League nights), ensuring VAMOS becomes the go-to second-screen destination for soccer in the Americas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in leading social strategy within the sports/media sector across various brands and channels (bonus points for experience in fast-paced “live” newsroom environments and/or soccer-focused settings).

• Native or professional-level proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• Comprehensive understanding of the global soccer landscape, with a particular passion for the stories surrounding soccer in the Americas (CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, MLS, Liga MX, Copa Libertadores).

• Skilled in mobile-first editing tools (such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush/After Effects) and possess a strong eye for aesthetic trends that resonate with VAMOS’ brand image.

• Capacity to collaborate with a remotely distributed team and adaptability to work according to the soccer calendar (including weeknights and weekends) during key events in the primary leagues VAMOS covers.

• GFOP-level comprehension of the current and historical tone of the Men in Blazers media network.
