Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee and refresh the Shopify store for merchandise, utilizing analytics to market products effectively and boost engagement and sales.

• Administer and enhance paid advertising campaigns on Google (Search Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram Ads), focusing on budget distribution and performance evaluation.

• Apply and uphold SEO best practices across our website and other digital assets.

• Generate captivating visual content for various platforms, including branding and merchandise logos.

• Transform long-form podcast content into succinct, engaging video clips while creating innovative short-form video content to attract audience interest.

• Formulate and implement social media strategies for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring regular posting, active interaction, and proactive engagement to foster traction and a robust following.

• Deliver consistent reports on the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.

• Ensure that all content and marketing endeavors are consistent with the defined brand and messaging.

• Collaborate effectively to enhance and support the current infrastructure and team.

• Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, focusing on paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and SEO.

• Proficient graphic design skills.

• Proven expertise in video editing, particularly in crafting engaging short-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok).

• Strong grasp of social media trends and best practices for audience engagement and growth.

• Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks and projects proactively.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Knowledge of managing the Shopify platform.
