Social Media Intern, Fall 2026

• Support the management and implementation of innovative social media strategies across various platforms.

• Work in close collaboration with the social media team to create engaging content, including informative videos and visually appealing graphics.

• Keep abreast of social media trends, analyze performance data, and contribute to dynamic social media campaigns.

• Showcase your ability to discover outstanding user-generated content across platforms and interact with followers.

• Cultivate an active online community focused on discussions about weather.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field that emphasizes writing experience.

• Proven knowledge and experience using Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.

• Basic skills in image editing.

• Ability to grasp fundamental scientific and meteorological concepts to effectively communicate them to our audience.

• Demonstrated capacity to be self-driven, team-oriented, and perform well under pressure.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends is required.

• This paid internship lasts for 5 months and requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week.
