Social Media Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a thorough social media strategy for Gimme Swag across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Tumblr, Discord, Facebook, and Pinterest.

• Create and manage an ongoing content calendar with a target of 2–3 posts per week for each platform.

• Establish baseline key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to monitor growth and engagement.

• Oversee the Pinterest strategy for New Dawn.

• Curate and transform raw assets provided by the team or interns into formats tailored for specific platforms (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).

• Ensure that all content is consistent with the brand voice: playful, youthful, and authentic for Gimme Swag; sophisticated and compliant for New Dawn.

• Manage the execution of Pinterest strategies for New Dawn.

• Coordinate daily posting schedules across all key platforms.

• Interact with the community, respond to comments and direct messages, and build relationships within the gaming and collector niche.

• Monitor analytics on a weekly basis to identify trending topics and make necessary adjustments to the strategy.

• Guide and offer feedback to two high-school-aged interns (one based in Texas, the other in New York) regarding content ideas and raw asset capture.

• Maintain open and flexible communication channels to ensure a smooth workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, ideally with brands in the creator economy, gaming, or lifestyle sectors.

• Extensive knowledge of algorithms and best practices for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Discord.

• Proficiency in video and photo editing tools (such as CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar).

• Comfort with utilizing AI tools for content ideation or enhancing workflow efficiency.

• Capacity to extract and analyze social media analytics data.

• Strong English writing skills (native or near-native fluency is mandatory).
