Social Media Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Schedule and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.

• Create captions and short-form text that reflects the brand's voice.

• Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages within agreed timeframes.

• Source and perform light edits on images and short video clips.

• Generate monthly performance reports regarding reach, engagement, and follower growth.

• Clear comments and messages overnight.

• Manage both scheduled content and ad-hoc posts.

• Participate in a weekly planning call to determine the upcoming themes.

• Emphasize consistent, well-crafted content and prompt, friendly responses.

• Collaborate directly with one UK brand through Remote Recruitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least one year of experience managing social media accounts for a business or client.

• Excellent written English skills and a keen eye for maintaining a clean feed.

• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.

• Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for basic design and editing tasks.

• A dependable computer and stable fibre or LTE internet connection.

• Availability from 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST).
