Social Media and Community Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Koinly's social media presence and foster community engagement.

• Serve as the online voice of Koinly, expanding our audience and ensuring we are actively present in the spaces where our users engage.

• Manage all social media platforms: X/Twitter, Reddit, and any upcoming channels.

• Develop, plan, and publish all types of social content including posts, threads, commentary, insights, memes, and quick graphics.

• Participate in discussions about cryptocurrency and crypto tax, leveraging your understanding of these topics.

• Address community inquiries, feedback, and complaints.

• Track crypto and tax discussions and contribute when appropriate.

• Maintain a content schedule (planned posts, scheduled content) while allowing for spontaneous engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in social media is advantageous, though a strong personal track record or personal project can suffice.

• You are an active presence online.

• Engaged in X, Reddit, or other communities on a personal level.

• Well-versed in cryptocurrency.

• Knowledgeable about DeFi, staking, on-chain activities, and their tax implications.

• Preferably, you have personally filed crypto taxes.

• A community builder rather than just a broadcaster.

• Provide examples of authentic community engagement.

• Native to the platforms you engage with.

• Recognize that X differs from LinkedIn and Reddit.

• Capable of creating content independently.

• Comfortable expressing opinions.

• Ability to respond quickly to real-time events online.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
