Social Media and Communications Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the client’s social media channels, including the scheduling and distribution of content.

• Create captivating and audience-tailored content across various platforms.

• Timely and professionally address messages, comments, and inquiries.

• Acquire, prepare, and resize images and multimedia content for digital use.

• Actively pursue content opportunities within the school community.

• Analyze competitor and industry activities to uncover opportunities, trends, and areas for improvement.

• Ensure consistent representation of the client’s brand, tone, and visual identity across social media platforms.

• Track and report on engagement metrics, identifying ways to enhance audience reach and interaction.

• Develop and execute an annual social media calendar.

• Organize the preparation and release of the client’s weekly newsletter.

• Collaborate with staff and key stakeholders to gather and follow up on content contributions.

• Create written content, visuals, and supplementary communication materials.

• Utilize Craft CMS for the development, formatting, and publication of digital communications.

• Stay informed about activities, events, and initiatives at the school to ensure timely and relevant communication.

• Guarantee that communications are accurate, engaging, and aligned with audience expectations and timelines.

• Assist with website updates, ensuring that digital content is current, precise, and consistent with brand standards.

• Help promote and coordinate school events, initiatives, and community engagement activities.

• Maintain awareness of project progress, milestones, and timelines through continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, architects, project managers, and building consultants.

• Execute the School’s two-year communication strategy, crafting and delivering key messages to targeted audiences at specified times through suitable communication channels.

• Aid in creating communications for a diverse range of audiences, including staff, students, families, alumni, and the wider community.

• Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and working proactively.

• Proven experience in handling social media platforms, digital communications, and content management systems, preferably Craft CMS or similar tools.

• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt writing style, edit, and proofread, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrated proficiency in preparing and publishing digital content, visuals, and communication materials.

• A keen eye for visual presentation, audience engagement, and spotting content opportunities.
