SOC 2 Associate Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• The Manager's role involves overseeing client engagements and internal tasks related to SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, HIPAA assessments, and external audits of various security and privacy frameworks and standards.

• Providing auditing services that pertain to security, compliance, and attestation.

• Managing the daily operations of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for cybersecurity).

• Assessing the design and effectiveness of technology controls.

• Identifying and conveying IT audit findings to the management team.

• Assisting in recognizing opportunities for performance enhancements for assigned clients.

• Communicating effectively with clients and team members.

• Engaging in client meetings and building client relationships through proactive communication.

• Supervising and managing the performance of IT audit staff involved in assigned engagements.

• Delivering weekly status reports to management.

• Proactively informing management about any potential issues.

• Training staff within the IT audit team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cyber security, or management information systems.

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience conducting IT audit engagements at a Big 4 firm or another audit/consulting organization.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is an advantage.

• Candidates should possess an active certification or be in the process of obtaining CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.

• Proficiency in both English and another language is required.
