IT Service Delivery Manager, Data Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the planning, designing, and execution of BI-DWH IT Services delivery to business users in accordance with best practices, ensuring a high standard of service quality and availability.

• Oversee, manage, and support the delivery of IT Services; ensure that systems, methodologies, and procedures are established and adhered to.

• Establish and manage reporting related to IT Services.

• Align BI services with business priorities, including the implementation and fulfillment of SLAs.

• Act as the escalation point for IT Services business users and management.

• Take ownership of significant incidents, ensuring coordination among resolving parties, effective communication with stakeholders, and conducting reviews of major incidents.

• Perform capacity planning to ensure that future demand driven by business growth is understood and adequately addressed.

• Manage IT operation teams and participate in budgeting activities.

• Drive continuous improvements in IT Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Delivery or IT Operations within BI/DWH or data platforms.

• Proven experience in managing a team of at least 5 employees.

• Experienced in overseeing enterprise BI/DWH environments, including necessary IT Operation processes.

• Strong technical expertise in SQL, Azure Databricks, BI/Reporting Tools, ETL processes, and integrations.

• Familiarity with applying and managing IT Service Management processes based on ITIL.

• Knowledgeable about data platforms and lakehouse concepts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Capable of managing the delivery expectations of business stakeholders.

• Proficient in both written and spoken Spanish and English.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.

• Nice to have: IT Service Management certification.

• Azure Databricks/Microsoft certification.

• Experience in the financial sector and awareness of FinOps.
